Abstract:  This is not an official USPS zip code feature class: The USPS does not provide, produce, or make available an official Zip Code GIS feature class. This feature class was somewhat verified by using the all special address attributes (label) that had been run through the Accuzip CAS certification and a zip code was either assigned or the existing zip code was confirmed by joining the Accuzip tabular data back to the special address geography and symbolizing on the Accuzip verified zip code using a visual comparison to the existing zip code layer.

Purpose: Depicts the zip codes boundaries within Sonoma County and adjacent to Sonoma County.
