Service Description:

2022 Canopy Height Model Model projected to CA State Plane II, with pixel values (vegetation heights) in feet. This uses the 2022 1-meter CHM created by NV5 and simply reprojects / resamples it to the same coordinate system as the 2013 CHM, and converts pixel values from meters to feet. Bilinear interpolation was used as the resampling method. Note that the vertical coordinate system of the 2022 DTM is DIFFERENT than the vertical coordinate system of the 2013 data.

The Digital Surface Model (DSM) represents the orthometric elevations of all above ground features detected by the lidar returns. It is created using the max elevation detected for each pixel at the desired resolution.
