Title: Pathogen Impaired Stretches of Russian River
Author:
Comments: Parcels within 600 feet of a National Hydrography Dataset stream or within 200 feet of a LIDAR derived stream are subject to the Russian River Pathogen TMDL Advanced Protection Management Program (APMP).
Subject: This is the Anticipated APMP Boundary
Russian River Pathogen TMDL Advanced Protection Management Program (APMP) boundary which will be used to identify parcels within boundary. The Advanced Protection Management Program establishes a 600-foot zone of influence for OWTS adjacent to perennial streams, which for the purposes of the Action Plan are blueline streams that are depicted on the USGS 1:100,00 scale topographic map, and a 200-foot zone of influence for lower class streams that are derived using a LIDAR dataset. The 600-foot distance is based on a microbial contamination zone that was recommended by the California Department of Public Heath (CDPH, 1999) to protect water supply from viral, microbial and direct chemical contamination.
