The data layer is parcel specific therefore, there is no formal boundary. Parcels granted an outside sewer service area agreement (a.k.a OSAA) within any sanitation district and/or zone are not considered "in" the respective district and/or zone. OSAA's are included for tracking purposes only. ("Sanitation District" defined as a body corporate and politic, organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California yet owned by the State and OPERATED under Sonoma County Water Agency. Subject: Support visualization, query and analysis of County land records. The district boundary is based on the changes in the district Master List of parcels that are included in said district. Changes in the boundary are referenced through documentation in associated fields. The data contained herein was developed for the County of Sonoma. It is the end user's responsibility to check the accuracy of the GIS data by comparing it with the published data from the Sonoma County Assessor / Recorder office. Static copy for Onsite Waste Treatment Systems (OWTS).
